Paediatric CPR and choking procedures
Seizures, shock and anaphylaxis
Wounds, bleeding and minor injuries
When and how to seek further medical assistance
This qualification is Ofqual regulated and is assessed through a combination of practical demonstration and written assessment. Successful learners achieve a Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid, valid for three years.
To support flexibility and reduce time away from the workplace, this course will be delivered as a blended learning programme. Learners complete the first day of study online, at their own pace, followed by one day of face‑to‑face practical training. This approach ensures high‑quality learning while minimising disruption to staffing and operations. Traditional face‑to‑face delivery is also available.
Training is offered through open courses with published dates or as bespoke, in‑house delivery for organisations wishing to train whole teams together.
