Gothic Fraktur Script

Description

Fraktur is a style of Gothic blackletter script that developed in the German-speaking world during the early 16th century. It became the dominant printing and writing style in German books and documents for centuries.

The course comprises four two-hour sessions on the followind dates, from 6 pm to 8 pm:

This course teaches students how to write the Gothic Fraktur script with historical accuracy and artistic confidence. Through structured lessons, students will learn pen control, traditional letterforms, spacing, and decorative flourishes while producing finished calligraphic pieces.

Ideal for beginners and intermediate calligraphers, the session builds muscle memory through structured exercises and guided feedback.
