Modern calligraphy is a contemporary interpretation of the traditional script, and ideal for wedding invitations and motivational quotes.

Modern calligraphy is a contemporary style of decorative handwriting that focuses on fluid, expressive letterforms rather than strict historical rules. Unlike traditional calligraphy styles (such as copperplate or gothic), modern calligraphy is more flexible and personal, allowing artists to experiment with shapes, spacing, and strokes.

The course comprises four two-hour sessions on the followind dates, from 2 pm to 4 pm:

The goal of the course is to develop the skill of writing artistic, stylish lettering through guided lessons and practice, and it will progresses from basic pen control to complete written compositions.

Students will practice essential strokes before constructing each letter with attention to key visual characteristics, but also with a creative approach.

Ideal for beginners and intermediate calligraphers, the session builds muscle memory through exercises and guided feedback, allowing personality and creativity to be an essential part of the process.
