Sewing Machine Doodles

Description

Learn how to set up your domestic machine for free motion embroidery or drawing with a sewing machine.

Get started with some simple exercises and then practice the technique to develop confidence in free motion stitching.

Design a simple picture and complete a small applique and free motion embroidery picture during the three hour session.

If you would rather focus on free motion for quilting we can set up a small quilt sandwich and get started on some regular quilting patterns and motifs. 

Tuition: full instruction and support in a small class (maximum of 6).

Use of Stitching Kitchen's fully equipped studio. You use a PFAFF sewing machine if you sewing machine isnt able to do free motion stitching.

All materials are provided.

Tea and cake.

Just bring yourself and your machine. Please note you will need a sewing machine which is capable of dropping the feed dogs and a darning foot - please call me if you have any question about your machines capability for free motion stitching.

You will use Stitching KItchen's fully equipped studio and all materials will be provided.

Please note that this workshop is held in our light and spacious first floor studio at Stitching Kitchen, which is accessible by stairs.
