Make full use of the Stitching Kitchen Studio and fabric stash to get creative with Fabric and Thread. Using one of my designs as inspiration or perhaps working from your own photo or sketch you will create a piece of textile art from the wide variety of fabric textures, embelishments and threads. Using the sewing and embellisher machines. Further embellishment to add more texture and depth using a variety of yarns, threads and beads, buttons and sequins can be added by either hand or machine stitch. 

The finished piece can be framed to hang on a wall or incorporated into another project.

What's included

Tuition: full instruction and support in a small class (maximum of 6).

Use of our Pfaff machines in Stitching Kitchen's fully equipped studio.

All materials and patterns are provided.

Tea and cake

What to bring

Full instruction from Hannah is included in the course along with all the materials you need to create your own piece of textile art. The tools and equipment needed will all be available to you so you only need to bring yourself. Although if you would like to use your own sewing machine please feel free to bring it along. 

Cake and drinks included - Bring a packed lunch!

Please note that this workshop is held in our light and spacious first floor studio at Stitching Kitchen, which is accessible by stairs.   

About your tutor

Your tutor will be Hannah, the owner of Stitching Kitchen. She set up the business in 2017 to share her passion and skills in all things involving textiles, fabric and threads. Her courses are relaxed and fun, they are held in her Stitching Kitchen Studio in Brackley, Northants where she provides a range of teas, coffee and homemade cakes.
