Give well-loved clothes a second life in this intimate, eco-conscious sewing workshop hosted in my dedicated studio.
In this relaxed 3-hour session, we will focus on the art of upcycling—transforming pre-loved shirts into beautiful, practical handmade items. Whether you want to preserve precious memories by stitching a sentimental garment or simply reduce textile waste using secondhand fabrics, you’ll learn step-by-step patchwork and quilting techniques to repurpose pre-loved clothes.
With a maximum of just 3 places per class, you’ll enjoy a semi-private masterclass experience with plenty of desk space and 1-on-1 guidance. This small group size ensures you get dedicated support every step of the way—especially when cutting into fabrics that hold sentimental value.
Memory cushions (a comforting, personalized way to turn a loved one's favorite shirt into a treasured keepsake)
Aprons
Zipped pouches & coin purses
Pot holders
...and more!
We’ll also cover where to find the best sources of recycled fabrics and share creative inspiration for future upcycling projects.
Suitable for all abilities—whether you're a beginner looking to build machine confidence or an experienced sewist looking for sustainable ideas and careful guidance on a keepsake project.
