Course Description

Intravenous (IV) therapy is one of the most commonly performed clinical procedures in healthcare, yet it carries significant risks if not undertaken safely and competently.

This comprehensive one-day course has been designed for registered healthcare professionals who administer or manage intravenous therapy. It provides the essential knowledge and practical skills required to safely care for peripheral IV cannulas, Midlines, PICC lines, Central Venous Catheters (CVCs), Hickman® lines, Port-a-Cath® devices and patients receiving Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN).
