Generation Alpha: Who Are They – and How Will They Shape Our Future?
Join us for an engaging evening exploring Generation Alpha (roughly those born from 2010 onwards) and the ways this emerging generation will influence our behaviours, workplaces, and communities.
This is the first generation to grow up fully immersed in a digital and AI-shaped world, yet early insights suggest a renewed openness to spirituality, identity, and meaning. Alongside rapid cultural change, there are signs of curiosity about faith, belonging, and purpose—raising important questions for how we engage, disciple, and support young people in the years ahead.
Hear from keynote speaker Alex Drew, Director of Training for Youthscape—an experienced practitioner who has led churches, speaks nationally on Generation Alpha, and is a qualified coach. Alex will offer practical insight and forward-looking perspective to help you understand and respond to this generation.
You will also have the opportunity to deepen your learning through focused sessions on:
Racial Justice, led by Ben Hammond, Racial Justice Officer
Disability Awareness, led by Charli Conway, Disability and Deaf Concerns Officer
Positive Behavioural Management, led by Rev. Dan Drew, Assistant Director- Mission and Ministry and Charles Perry Jnr.
These sessions will equip you with practical perspectives to support inclusion and understanding in your context.
The evening will provide a valuable space for meaningful conversation and an opportunity to share your reflections with others, with a light evening meal provided as you connect.
