Course Structure:
Day 1 & 2 - CCN1 + CENWAT Renewal
Day 3 - CKR1/HTR1 Renewal
All candidates must take their CCN1 + CENWAT (Day 1 & 2) which will remain the same whether it is a normal renewal or lapsed (expired more than 12 months).
LAPSED CERTIFICATE (expired more than 12 months ago) - If your certificate has been expired longer than 12 months, then please call 0300 373 3337 (line 1) to discuss a custom renewal date.
Domestic ACS Initial Package covers training and assessment on some or all of the following:
CCN1 - CORE DOMESTIC GAS SAFETY, INCLUDING CPA1 (COMBUSTION PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS)
CENWAT - CENTRAL HEATING BOILERS & WATER HEATERS
CKR1 - COOKERS (can be added as an extra at checkout)
HTR1 - SPACE HEATERS (INCLUDING GAS FIRES AND WALL HEATERS) (can be added as an extra at checkout)
MET1 - GAS METER SAFETY
These assessments takes the form of practical tests and theory multiple choice question papers.
Delegates will need to provide a copy of their previous ACS Certificate when booking onto the course.
You will also be required to bring a ID, A Passport Style Photo & Appropriate Workwear to the course.
Please bring a copy of your previous ACS certificate if doing a reassessment.
For initial courses (e.g., you have a gas diploma and doing CCN1 & CENWAT for the first time) please bring a copy of your gas diploma.
For initial modules (e.g. you have CCN1 & CENWAT and are looking to get CKR1/HTR1/MET1) please bring your ACS certificate and proof that you have been on the GasSafe Register for at least 12 months:
Individuals can opt for ‘fast-track’ certification for the payment of an additional administration fee to the assessment centre. The fast-track certification process will provide a three working day turnaround from the completion of the assessment to the issue of the certificate and download of the result to OFTEC (providing the information is complete and correct).
