Prerequisites: Applicants must hold a nationally recognized qualification and/or registration in a trade associated with heating and/or plumbing work for a period of not less than two years. OR Have "on the job" heating installation and/or maintenance experience for a period of not less than two years AND hold current and valid Water Regulations/Unvented Hot Water certificates.

Assessment: Each course includes multiple-choice theory papers, practical worksheets, and hands-on assessments.

Expiry: All OFTEC heat pump qualifications require re-assessment after five years.
