What is Kirtan?
Kirtan is part of Naada Yoga or the Yoga of Sound.
It is a Sound meditation in which we are using the most powerful instrument that we have - our own voice.
In Kirtan we are sharing together uplifting and high energy charged words, mantras, stories and songs about the Divine in whichever way we may understand it and name it.
The ocean of consciousness can be named differently in many traditions, religions and paths but it is all translated to the same viberation in our hearts - Love.
By using ancient languages and sounds, we are joining old generations. We are joining their intentions to connect to the Heart of Creation, Divinity, God, Goddess, That which perhaps has no name, but is within each and every one of us and longing to be touched and awaken.

Kirtan is traditionally sang in a Call and response manner when the leader is calling out and the Sangham (the crowd) is repeating. We are learning the mantras together through repetition.

What is Cacao Ceremony?
For thousands of years different culures all over the world have considered cacao as a sacred plant with healing properties. Not only was cacao used in ceremonial settings but it was also renowned as a medicinal plant that aids in the healing of and opening up of the heart's circulation. Because of its heart opening qualities cacao is a perfect pairing with meditation, yoga, dancing, and different therapies.
It facilitates greater connection to other people and to yourself.
What a better match for our heart centred singing Kirtan meditation!

Vegan sweets, fruits and medicinal herbs will be served - please let us know in case of allergies so we will make sure to cater for you!
