C&G 2382-22 BS7671 18th Edition
The skills learnt on this course package will enable you to carry out inspection and testing on electrical installations, by being aware of the appropriate legislation, the inspection and testing techniques, the completing and issuing certificates and the understanding of results and measurements.
You will also learn the latest 18th Edition wiring regulations and building regulations to ensure that your work meets the current regulations.
If you have been in the trade for at least 5 years but you don’t hold the formal qualification to be or to become an approved registered contractor, this package shortens dramatically your route to the Gold Card achievement.
Instead of starting over with Level 2 and 3 Diplomas in Electrical Installations, which would take you at least one year to complete, with this just 6 days plus assessments package you will be able to get straight onto the C&G 2346 Experienced Worker NVQ Level 3route and save a great deal of time and money.

Course Content
If you have 5 years experience in the trade, this Experienced Worker Route pre-requisite course package will allow you to access the City & Guilds 2346 Experienced Worker NVQ Level 3 programme.
It will teach you the UK wiring regulations (18th Edition course) and the Initial Verification of Electrical Installations (C&G 2391-50).
In particular, the City & Guilds 2391-50 Course will include:
Understand the Requirements for Initial Verification of Electrical Installations
Understand Safety Management Procedures When Undertaking Initial Verification
Understand the Requirements for the Initial Inspection of an Electrical Installation
Understand the Requirements for Testing Electrical Installations at Initial Verification
Perform Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations (Unit 500)
Exams & Assessments
The criteria / method of assessment varies from unit to unit. Most units have an exam (written and/or online) and others have practical assessments. Your lecturer will notify of you which is required enabling you to adequately prepare for that particular unit.
