Discover the heritage craft of chair caning in this hands-on one day class .
Under the tutelage of Julia Walton you will learn the to weave the six-way caning pattern most commonly used in chair seat weaving.
At the end of the class you get to take your frame away with you along with an instruction booklet which will allow you to apply the techniques learned to your own projects.
All materials supplied including a small frame and cane.

There is one set of stairs up to the loading bay of Exchange Mill, then a lift up to the third floor workshop where the class takes place.
