Terms of Service — DAIG Partners Training Programs

1. Organizer

These terms apply to all training programs and digital courses offered by Data & AI Governance Partners, a brand of Mathias Vercauteren BV, registered at Spoorwegstraat 23, 9250 Waasmunster, Belgium. VAT: BE0762940731. Contact: mathias@daigpartners.com.

2. Registration and confirmation

By completing a registration, you enter into a binding agreement with Mathias Vercauteren BV for participation in the selected training program. Registration is confirmed upon receipt of payment or upon issuance of an invoice, whichever comes first. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided at registration. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability.

3. Pricing and payment

All prices for the EU edition are listed in euros and are exclusive of VAT. VAT will be charged in accordance with applicable Belgian and EU tax regulations. All prices for the US/Global edition are listed in US dollars. Payment is due within 14 days of invoice date or prior to the training date, whichever comes first. We accept payment by bank transfer and online payment as offered through our registration platform. Late payments may result in the cancellation of your registration.

4. Early bird and promotional pricing

Early bird pricing is available until the date specified on the program page. After the early bird deadline, the standard price applies automatically. Early bird and promotional offers cannot be combined with other discounts unless explicitly stated. Team rates apply to 3 or more registrations from the same organization submitted in the same transaction or communicated via email prior to registration.

5. Cancellation by the participant

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to mathias@daigpartners.com. The following cancellation policy applies:

14 or more days before the session: full refund.
7 to 13 days before the session: 50% refund.
6 or fewer days before the session: no refund.

Substitutions — sending a colleague in your place — are welcome at any time at no additional cost. Please notify us in advance with the substitute's name and email address.

6. Cancellation or rescheduling by the organizer

DAIG Partners reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a training session if minimum enrollment is not reached or due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (illness of the trainer, force majeure, technical failure). In the event of cancellation by the organizer, registered participants will be offered a full refund or a transfer to the next available session, at the participant's choice. DAIG Partners is not liable for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by the participant in connection with a cancelled or rescheduled session.

7. Training delivery and format

Live digital training sessions are delivered via Zoom or a comparable video conferencing platform. Participants are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection, a functioning device with audio and video capability, and access to the platform used. DAIG Partners is not responsible for technical issues on the participant's end that prevent participation. In the event of a significant technical disruption on our end that prevents delivery of a substantial portion of the program, affected participants will be offered access to the recorded session or a transfer to the next available session.

8. Replay access

Registered participants receive access to the recorded session for the duration specified on the program page (currently 1 year from the training date). Replay access is personal and non-transferable. DAIG Partners reserves the right to remove replay access after the specified period. Replay access does not constitute a right to redistribute, download, or share the recording.

9. Certificates

A certificate of completion is issued to each participant who attends the full training session. The certificate confirms attendance and completion of the program. It does not constitute a professional certification, license, or accreditation.

10. Intellectual property

All training materials — including but not limited to slide decks, e-books, templates, checklists, recordings, and documentation — are the intellectual property of Mathias Vercauteren BV and are protected by copyright. Materials are provided for the registered participant's personal and internal organizational use only. Participants may not reproduce, distribute, publish, resell, or make available any training materials to third parties without prior written consent from DAIG Partners. The AI Governance Starter Kit templates may be adapted for internal use within the participant's organization. They may not be rebranded, resold, or used in the delivery of commercial training or consulting services.

11. Confidentiality and participant conduct

Participants may not record, screenshot, or capture the live training session or any part of it without prior written consent. Discussions and examples shared by other participants during the session are confidential and may not be attributed or shared outside the group. DAIG Partners reserves the right to remove a participant from a session in the event of disruptive or inappropriate behavior.

12. Privacy and data protection

DAIG Partners processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Belgian privacy legislation. Personal data collected during registration (name, email, organization, billing details) is used solely for the purpose of delivering the training, issuing invoices, providing access to materials and replays, and communicating about the program. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Participants may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data at any time by contacting mathias@daigpartners.com. For full details, refer to our privacy policy at daigpartners.com/privacy-policy.

13. Limitation of liability

The training content is provided for educational and informational purposes. It does not constitute legal, regulatory, or compliance advice. Participants are responsible for determining how to apply the concepts and tools in their own organizational context. DAIG Partners is not liable for any decisions made or actions taken based on the training content. The total liability of Mathias Vercauteren BV in connection with any training program is limited to the amount paid by the participant for that specific program.

14. Force majeure

DAIG Partners is not liable for any delay or failure to deliver a training session caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, internet infrastructure failures, or the illness or incapacity of the trainer. In such cases, the provisions of Section 6 (Cancellation by the organizer) apply.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of the judicial district of Dendermonde, Belgium.

16. Amendments

DAIG Partners reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The terms applicable at the time of registration apply to that registration. Material changes will be communicated to registered participants via email.
