Course Overview:
The Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) has been written for learners wishing to become first aiders in their place of work, and covers the vital skills necessary to provide prompt and effective first aid.
The qualification meets the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requirements for training first aiders in those organisations that have identified that staff need to be trained to this level within their first-aid needs assessment. It will also ensure your first-aiders are approved to deliver first aid for 3 years, after which they will need to retake the course

Course Content:
Roles and responsibilities of the First Aider
Assessing an emergency situation safely
Providing first aid to an unresponsive casualty
Providing first aid to a casualty who is choking
Providing first aid to a casualty with external bleeding
Providing first aid to a casualty who is suffering from shock
Providing first aid to a casualty with minor injuries
Entry Requirements:
Learners must be 18+ years old
Must be able to communicate fluently in spoken and written English
Participants must wear appropriate, comfortable clothing suitable for practical, scenario-based training
What to Bring:
One form of valid photographic identification, such as:
Valid passport (any nationality)
UK photocard driving licence
Valid SIA licence
Warrant card issued by HM Forces or the Police
