She is a qualified head and neck lymphoedema therapist, treating the adverse side-effects of neck dissection surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy using OncoLaser™ treatment with MLS Laser, as well as hands-on techniques.

Kate is a trailblazer in early monitoring for cancer-related lymphoedema, being an early adopter of the SOZO bioimpedance spectroscopy technology by Impedimed. This allows her to closely monitor the early signs and symptoms of cancer-related lymphoedema and other cancer treatments involving lymph node dissection.
