This presentation will be a whistle stop to cover: what lymphoedema is, risk factors for the development of lymphoedema, recognition and assessment, and management and considerations in palliative care.

Miriam is a specialist palliative care physiotherapist who has worked at Wirral hospice for 9 years. Recently completed an MSc module with the Royal Marsden School titled: Lymphoedema; Principles and Practice. This presentation is to share learning from this training and how we may be able to apply this in practice at the hospice to support our patients using current evidenced based care.
