Printmaking Workshop

Description

In this session we’ll explore collagraph printmaking using textured papers, taking inspiration from the work of Laurence Scarfe.

You’ll build your own textured printing plate by collaging different patterns from the papers. Then learn how to ink it up and print it onto beautifully coloured backgrounds. The process is tactile, playful and full of lovely surprises, making it a great way to experiment with pattern, texture and colour.

No previous printmaking experience is needed and everything will be demonstrated step by step. You will leave with a set of unique handmade prints to take home.
