We can offer this course as an open course to everyone to book, or on request, we can offer the course for group bookings up to six in a group at the price of £180 per person or up to twelve in a group at the price of £150 per person.
The First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification is recognised by the HSE and meets the requirements of the First Aid at Work Regulations 1981 and subsequent changes. This 18-hour course is delivered over a minimum of 3 days and ensures participants gain the knowledge and practical skills needed to confidently manage a range of medical emergencies in the workplace. Upon successful completion, candidates receive a certificate valid for 3 years.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Assess the scene and manage a first aid emergency.
Administer CPR and use the recovery position.
Provide first aid for choking, bleeding, burns, fractures, and other injuries.
Recognise and treat medical conditions such as heart attacks, strokes, asthma attacks, and more.
Safely manage incidents involving electric shock, poisoning, and anaphylaxis.
CPD-accredited certification, valid for 3 years.
18 contact hours of classroom-based training, delivered over a minimum of 3 days.
Meets all the requirements set by the HSE and European Resuscitation Council.
Recognised by the SIA for those in the door supervision and security guard sectors.
Available as a regulated qualification through ProTrainings or as a Vocational Training Qualification (VTQ).
