Description

Led by our clinical Team including, Dr Dawn Harris, Dr Jess Collins and Dr Oonagh Duffy our supervisors are chartered members of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP). They are also qualified clinical supervisors. The ultimate goal of supervision is to establishes a formal process of support, reflection, learning and development to deliver quality care to clients, service users and patients. Epione see supervision as a partnership with organisations that can be offered for groups or on an individual basis.

In operating from a trauma lens, our Epione supervisors support professional growth, reflection and encourage learning opportunities. It is crucial for organisations to create safe spaces for meaningful and sometimes difficult conversations, which in turns helps to mitigate the impacts of vicarious trauma.

Our supervisors follow a strengths and evidenced based approach which enables good boundary setting, trust and routine in which supervises are empowered to check in, agree specific issues and opportunity to work through step by step, and identifying resourcing to support reflective learning.
