Upstream oil and gas decision making is becoming more critical today, as there is a shift towards more capital-intensive projects and costly resources, with many new oil and gas discoveries in the border line of commerciality. Both the national and international oil & gas companies share a huge responsibility to ensure effective stewardship and market application of oil and gas resources. Clear commercial acumen is crucial as the industry moves toward more complex and sophisticated oil and gas projects in challenging environments (for example; deep-sea exploration, geographically remote fields, smaller discoveries and exploitation of unconventional resources).

He has 40 years of diversified experience in petroleum engineering, reservoir engineering, project economics and decision analysis. He had been involved in evaluating multi-billion-dollar oil and gas field development, NGL, LNG, GTL, Aluminum smelter, refinery, petrochemical, power and production sharing projects. He has worked with major oil companies such as Saudi Aramco, ZADCO, Qatar Petroleum and companies in USA. He is a registered professional Engineer in the state of Colorado, USA.
