I would highly recommend Duncan and the day skipper course through West View Sailing. both course structure and back up provided are excellent, with feedback coming back almost before you have submitted the work! Duncan is obviously experienced and knowledgeable and keen to get his students through the course with a win.

I completed the Westview day skipper course on line with Duncan in September 2022, it was defiantly not easy but the education this course provides is invaluable! I completed my Costal Skipper/Yachtmaster theory online with Westview Sailing. I have to say Duncan made competing the course a pleasure. The videos are excellent and great to be able to review material while completing the assignments. Any questions you had Duncan would get back to you quickly and always had time to discuss. Although this is a 'remote' (online) course, you do not feel remote, as the level of support and Duncan's very prompt replies to questions makes it feel very inclusive. The training videos are fantastic, taking you through the sections in a logical sequence, step by step, with an overview, then demonstrated examples and real example references. My wife and I both took the Day skipper shorebased course with Duncan. We were both very satisfied. The course is well structured and Duncan has excellent teaching skills.
