A really useful session, and it was great to hear the practical examples Tom shared. The advice to focus on the four key areas (Evac, Invac, Comms & Lockdown) was particularly helpful. It also highlighted the importance of regular training & drills to build good habits & create a strong safety culture. Another key takeaway was to be aware of changes in occupancy levels during special events, as these could temporarily move a premises into a different tier under Martyn's Law. Highly recommend.

Essential viewing for anyone in event management. Havinf studied Matryn's law intensively for the last months, there's still so many things to learn.

These sessions run by Protect Alliance and Jody are hugely valuable with some great insights. The most recent session around Operational Practicalities was particularly relevant around the proportionate and clear communications strategies to be implemented. Working as part of a large multinational company with thousands of different sites across the UK, maintaining the same standards across our business will be vital. Excellent stuff !!
