The Guitar Social operates with a membership model. All class attendees must ensure they have a membership before coming to class and events. If The Guitar Social services are not used in any given month, The Guitar Social will not offer refunds, nor are we responsible for cancelling memberships. If you wish to cancel your membership this must be done through Cademy.

If you injure yourself playing guitar or attending one of our events, The Guitar Social is not liable
The first month’s membership fee must be paid upfront in full.
The minimum age to register as a member is 18

1. Your times of use:

Monday – Wednesday - 8am - 9.30pm
Thursday - 8am - 11.00pm
Friday - 8am - 12 midnight
Saturday - 11am - 12 midnight
Sunday - 11am - 10.30pm
Bank Holidays: Variable
The Guitar Social reserves the right to change any of these times on occasion

2. Use of the classes and events and any membership perks

This is dependent on you maintaining payments of your monthly direct debit. If any monthly direct debit payment is not received on the due date for payment, then your membership will (except in exceptional circumstances and at our sole discretion) be automatically suspended until all due payments have been brought up to date.
You will be provided with your personal non-transferable membership login that you will be requested to use to book your workshops and events. If your membership login is used by anyone else with your knowledge or consent then we reserve the right in our sole discretion to suspend and/or cancel your membership.
You must inform us if you have sustained a personal injury or have developed a medical condition that may have consequences for safely learning guitar with us or attending one of our events
Equipment borrowed from The Guitar Social must be treated with respect.

3. Bookable activities:

Bookings are only accepted from members whose membership fees are up to date.
Bookings can be made 30 minutes in advance, though spaces on classes are limited
Attendance for your class will be registered
Cancellation of a booking must be made no later than 20 minutes before the booking is due to start. We ask that you cancel booking made if you are not intending to use them, so that others can benefit from your slot
Entrance to a class may be refused should you arrive 10 minutes after the class start time
Classes and instructors are subject to change.
We reserve the right to restrict a members ability to pre-book classes if the member persistently fails to attend booked classes.

4. General

Members must keep their personal details up to date at all times. Any changes should be made via the members area in our booking system.
Food and drink not bought at The Guitar Social is not permitted in class or at events, unless the food or drink is for medical reasons
We ask you to familiarise yourself with the contents of our signs, notices on display and the location of the emergency exits.
Failure to adhere to these rules may result in the termination of your membership.
