BOTOX AND ITS USES

Botox is a drug made from a neurotoxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum called botulinum toxin. It is used medically to treat certain muscular conditions and cosmetically remove wrinkles by temporarily paralyzing muscles.

Botox is generally administered to the following areas:

Forehead- Frontalis Frown Line- Corrugator Crows Feet- Temporalis

However, there are different types of botulinum toxin products (toxin A and B) which are used to treat specific eye problems such as uncontrollable blinking, migraines, bladder weakness, grinding of the teeth and excessive sweating.

Botulinum toxin is not a cure, and your symptoms gradually return over time, so it is recommended to have Botox administered every 3 months for continued results.

The two day Botox Foundation Course is £2500 Inclusive

DERMAL FILLERS AND THEIR USES

Dermal fillers, also known as injectable implants, OR wrinkle fillers are medical device implants which are currently approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and are used to achieve a smoother, filled and fuller appearance to the face, in areas such as the nasolabial folds, the cheek (zygomaticus) and the lips (cupids bow or vermilion border), Smile lines (marionette lines), bunny lines (nose) for nasal definition and even a full face lift!.

The FDA has approved dermal filler made from non-absorbable (permanent) material ONLY for the correction of nasolabial folds and cheek acne scars in patients over the age of 21 years.

The FDA has approved some dermal fillers for the restoration and/or correction of the signs of facial fat loss (lipoatrophy) in people with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).

The FDA has approved several absorbable dermal fillers for use such as lip and cheek augmentation in patients over the age of 21, and the correction of contour deficiencies, such as wrinkles and acne scars.

The FDA has also approved one filler for hand augmentation, which increases the volume of the back of the hands.

Dermal Fillers range in how long they last which ranges from 3 months to one year but there are also permanent fillers available.

It is important to research the product used in Dermal Filler application as there are a few cheap alternatives available in the industry which could cause the product to migrate.

The two day Dermal Filler Course is £2500

COMBINED COURSE IS £4500 INCLUSIVE
