Join Julia for a series of bite-sized, practical pattern-cutting sessions designed to help you adapt and evolve your existing blocks and patterns.
Each month focuses on a different technique or project to boost your confidence and skills in pattern adaptation and design.
These workshop will teach you to construct or adapt pattens whether using a block/slope or a commercial patten . The workshop are suitable for all level even if you have never tried patten cutting before.

Learn how to move a bust dart, on a block or commercial pattern, to a different potion and to style the darts into new design features to enhance your garments.
📅 DECEMBER 6 – Drafting a 6-Panel Skirt.
Learn how to construct a six panel skirt to fit you perfectly, using your own body measurements, which can then adapt to make serval styles.
📅 JANUARY 10 – Creating Design Features in a Skirt.
Learn how to construct design fetchers from a straight skirt block or commercial pattern. The theory learned here can be use for bodice, dresses and trousers too.

YOUR TRAINER: JULIA BURROWS
The Saturday Pattern Club is lead by JULIA BURROWS, a pattern cutter and apparel designer who worked as a successful designer and pattern cutter for 30 years on several brand ranges in South Africa and for suppliers to Marks & Spencers in Britain.
She has since taught pattern cutting and manufacturing for Fashion Enter in London and now works with Textiles Skills Centre, for whom she develops online courses and leads on-line and in-person pattern and sewing workshops.
