Description

Have you ever held yourself back from going after something you want because a voice in your head tells you you might fail, embarrass yourself, or be judged by others? Or even when you do achieve something, do you find yourself thinking you didn’t really deserve it, or that it was just luck?

In this two-part workshop, you will explore that inner experience - often described as Imposter Phenomenon - where self-doubt can make you question your abilities both before you act and after you succeed. You will begin by unpacking how common these thought patterns are, and how they often stem from an “inner critic” that amplifies fear of failure.

Then through reflection and discussion, you will explore moments where self-doubt shows up for you personally and practical ways of responding to it. This includes proven tools and techniques designed to reduce the power of your inner critic and create distance from unhelpful thoughts.

The second part of the workshop will shift the focus towards building positive self-belief. You will explore how confidence is developed in practice and how grounding positive self-talk in personal achievements can strengthen a more balanced and constructive inner voice.

By the end of the workshop, you will have a clearer understanding of how self-doubt operates, practical tools to manage your inner critic, and a stronger sense of your own strengths - creating a foundation of confidence to support your future goals.
