For Us Too

We had a brilliant time at the For Us Too swimming session at Blue Wave. It is the first time we have been swimming with our daughter who is a wheelchair user and not had to struggle to carry and lift her to get into the pool. Blue wave is designed so that we could get our daughter changed in the adapted changing room (on a changing bed) and then hoist her straight from there to right over the pool and then just lower her in. This made all the difference for us. Thank you!

My daughter thoroughly enjoyed herself. She's been talking about seeing friends/ peers ever since. Its great for her to socialise with her peers.

Thank you so much for organising these inclusive swimming sessions for our SEN kids. My son looks forward every Saturday for 4 weeks so he can attend these swimming sessions. He loves the hydro-pool with the waterfalls & low lighting & we will be looking forward to attending November's swimming sessions. Thank you for organising these sessions they are much needed & appreciated, by all our children.

Such a wonderful opportunity for my son to attend without feeling overwhelmed by bright lights , too many people and extra loud environments ….. this was amazing for both of us, allowing 1:1 bonding time whilst also being surrounded by likeminded people without the fear of judgement. Thank you so much for providing this opportunity to families like ours x

wonderful time again swimming. my son had a fear since end of june and he's totally come out of himself getting his confidence back and he's loved playing with a young girl there.

Really lovely to have a venue for my son to swim in safely and amongst adults and children that are like him and support him. This event made my son really happy and he’s excited for next Saturday’s swim!

Absolutely fantastic. My son really enjoyed himself at the swimming group. It's been great for his confidence and his self-esteem and a great way to have fun while exercising. I really hope that there will be many more swimming groups in the near future as we will be definitely in attendance. Are kids need lots more of these small intimate swimming events as they benefit from them & really enjoy them. So many smiles & laughter, it great to see. Thank you so much For Us Too for organising this.

I think it's great! Absolutely great! My lil boy is ASD & pending ADHD assessment... he loves the water very obsessed so it was really lovely watching him and my partner together having so much fun! I do highly rate this for the kiddies! Even the adults! 🤭🤣 THANK YOU!

Amazing session, staff were friendly and helpful. Kids loved having the chance to drive the boat (adults loved it too!) Thank you so much for a fab time!
