Great training and fantastic opportunity for our students. Especially for our disadvantage students who don't always get the chance to try or cook with new foods.

Our school used the Mighty Mussels programme last year and we have applied again this year. This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to cook with mussels, and opportunity they wouldn't get otherwise. Thank you so much for this. We look forward to our mussels delivery!!

What a fantastic opportunity for young people to have access to ingredients that they would not usually be able to afford or never tasted before. My students are very excited and can't wait to receive their delivery!

Top quality fish/mussels provided through this scheme. My PRU students love the opportunity to cook and eat foods that they would not normally be able to.

This is such a valuable and worthwhile programmer. My students and I are excited to be involved again and are looking forward to experimenting with mussels. We have taken part with Fish from the Chippy and cooked hake goujons with diy mayo. I would definitely recommend getting involved. Great for my personal skills.

The Mighty mussels programme has been fantastic for my pupils from the presentations and training to deliver to my students to the excellent fresh mussels that were delivered. All the students benefited so much from this programme, some had never even tried a mussel before. They went away so happy and so inspired to cook them again at home. Thank you FTC

What an amazing oppourtunity for students to work with an ingredient they are unfamiliar with. The mussels and salmon we have recieved has been of the highest quality. I am looking forward to the chance to introduce more students to cooking with fish.

I feel extremely fortunate that my school and my students have been able to take part in the Fish Heroes programme where fish was provided free of charge for students to prepare and cook. This allowed students, some of whom had never even tried fish or seafood before to try it, to understand the origins and sustainability of where it had come from and to learn how to safely prepare it. This has made a very positive impact on the students that I teach! Thank you!
