This course provides an overview of the Hepatitis B vaccination for staff at occupational risk with a comprehensive understanding of hepatitis B vaccination in the workplace. Drawing on the latest UK guidance, including the Green Book Chapter 18 (updated February 2026), the course covers the nature of hepatitis B infection, the occupational groups most at risk, routes of transmission, and the vaccines currently available and licensed for use in adults at occupational risk. Learners will be guided through recommended vaccination schedules, contraindications, precautions, and the post-vaccination serology testing process, including the management of low responders and non-responders.
