Do I need to pay in full or just a deposit?

Payments must be made in full for all courses, prior to the course starting.

Please contact me (artwithtricia@gmail.com) to discuss deposit and further payments for courses longer than 5 sessions.

All online bookings must be paid in advance and in full.

Can I get a refund?

If I have to cancel a course all deposits/payments will be refunded to you.

Please note that bespoke courses, those arranged for groups or by specific arrangement, cannot be refunded unless by agreement.

Regular courses (none bespoke courses);

You can cancel your course booking up to 14 days after making an initial booking on your course and receive a full refund. If your course starts before the end of the 14 day period, cancelation will be until the first day of the course. If you cancel your booking more than 14 days after the initial booking you will not be entitled to any refund, though I may be able to amend your booking to another date (see below). Refunds can also be issued outside the fourteen day period if a written request is received more than four weeks before the start of the course. An administrative charge of £10 will be deducted from the refund. After that time, only requests for refunds as a result of your ill health will be considered. This must be supported by a certificate from your doctor and an administrative charge of £10 will be deducted from the refund.

If you are unable to attend, I will transfer payment in full to another course only if I have another student to take your place. If another student cannot take your place, payment cannot be refunded to you.

Refunds cannot be given for enrolments of online learning courses or digital downloads. (see below)

Can I cancel an online course?

You can not cancel an online course once you receive the course login details (access to the course is usually in the form of an email with a web link to the course or link to join the student chatroom where you will also have access to your specific course page/s)

What happens if there are any changes to my course?

Although courses usually run as advertised I reserve the right to alter, change or cancel courses as necessary. If occasional sessions have to be postponed due to circumstances beyond my control alternative dates will be arranged and no refunds granted. If it becomes necessary for me to close or cancel a course refunds will be made with no administrative fee deducted.

Will I receive course confirmation and further information?

Once a course is booked you will receive confirmation; a receipt if payment is made in person or online payment confirmation if enrolment is made online.

In person courses; You may receive a Course Information Sheet giving you an overview of your chosen course, with details of time, venue and other relevant information. There may also be a materials list; this will include advice on the types of materials suitable for your course or the specific materials required for your chosen course. Please be aware that unless stated it is presumed that students will have and bring relevant materials to be able to take part in the course. If you find you are having trouble locating art materials then please contact me and I will be able to advise you further.

Online learning; Unless stated it is presumed that students will have relevant materials to be able to take part in the course.

It is also the responsibility of students to have suitable internet connection to stream classes or download course content. Please make sure you are able to view course content, download apps (Zoom / Skype) and stream at a good enough quality for you to access all digital and online learning.
