I am currently offering this add-on to my one to one lessons.
This is only for the exam.
Please see my 'BSL lessons' for information about training either online or in person.
This exam qualification is divided into three units, each of which can be achieved separately.
Learners should sit the BSL101 exam first, then sit the exams BSL102 and BSL103.
Exams 102 and 103 can be taken in any order.
BSL101 - Introduction to BSL
BSL102 - Conversational BSL
BSL103 - Communication in BSL about Everyday Life

Should I already know British Sign Language
Yes, you should have already completed level 1 training.
This is for the exam only. Please feel free to contact me about practise sessions or initial training before taking the exam.
Who will I be taking the exam with?
Your tutor Tricia Johnson will facilitate the exam. She will be the person you sit the exam with.
Signature is the exam board who will assess and issue your qualification. (https://www.signature.org.uk/)
What is involved in sitting the exam?
There are 3 unit exams to sit, you must past all 3 exams to achieve the level 1 qualification.
Each exam is a conversation with your exam facilitator/tutor. You will be sent the exam criteria; exam topic, time and marking structure as required by the exam board.
Each exam is filmed and submitted to the exam board for marking.
