This Horticulture Diploma Level 3 is designed for those with some previous experience of horticulture and wanting to work in outdoor jobs and combines knowledge and practical work with employment experience. The course reflects the skills and knowledge needed to pursue a career in amenity horticulture.

This course provides a broad grounding in horticulture with a wide range of skills and background knowledge and an emphasis on practical knowledge. You will learn a wide range of technical skills. Topics include completing a project in the land-based sector, business management in the land-based sector, understanding the principles of plant science and the principles of soil science. With this course, you'll be able to take your skills and knowledge of a centre-based environment to allow you to progress within the Horticulture industry or progress to further learning and/or training. You'll develop underpinning knowledge whilst practising skills that could be used within employment in the Horticulture sector.

After completing the course successfully, you will be able to obtain an Accredited Certificate of Achievement. Certificates can be obtained either in hard copy at a cost of £39 or in PDF format at a cost of £24.
