Paediatric First Aid at Work RQF is training designed mainly for those who work with children in a childcare setting and include both children and infants. This course also awards the learner with 8 UCAS points.

At the end of the 5 days, Learners will attain an RQF Award in the requirements of FD&FA systems for non-domestic buildings BS 5839-1: 2017.

Learners will develop knowledge from the FD&FA foundation BS 5839-1 module and/or industry experience and apply this to the installation of FD&FA systems.

This is a gateway course for all further learning in FD&FA systems.

Session duration 40 minutes Course delivery details The qualification has 6 assigned guided learning hours (GLH) and 7 hours total qualification time (TQT). GLH indicates the number of contact hours that the learner will undertake being taught or assessed under the immediate guidance or supervision of the trainer/assessor in the classroom. TQT includes GLH but also considers any unsupervised learning or preparation that a learner may undertake independently which could include self-study or the completion of set tasks. The minimum classroom contact time of 6 hours can be delivered in 1 day or can be completed over a maximum of 3 weeks ensuring that each session is a minimum of two hours. The learner ratio for the qualification is a maximum of 12 learners to 1 trainer/assessor. Welcome to my class! My name is Liz and I teach a gentle and mindful yoga class, open to all. My aim is to help you unwind in the evening and reconnect with your body and inner alignment. The class will be varied and include some slower paced flows (options always available to suit your practice/body), some meditative aspects, and some longer held yin and restorative poses. This is a practice meant for you, so I welcome any feedback/suggestions at the end of my classes with the aim of tailoring my teaching for the greatest benefit of the community. A bit about me: I have been participating in mindful movement for my entire life including experience in classical ballet, partner dance styles, and yoga. My teacher training was completed under a Zen Monk (Daizan Skinner) so I am greatly influenced by these traditions in my teaching. I feel a huge sense of excitement to be sharing this practice so that more people can experience the joy of connecting deeply with themselves, and with life.
