Paediatric First Aid at Work RQF is training designed mainly for those who work with children in a childcare setting and include both children and infants. This course also awards the learner with 8 UCAS points.

This level 3 award first aid at work training course helps you comply to first aid training requirements. We are based in Crawley West Sussex but will head anywhere in the UK fo a group of upto 12 people.

This refresher course provides first aiders with an opportunity to practice and update their skills as a qualified first aider, at any time while their first aid certificate is valid. This course does not renew your qualification, it is for practice and refreshing skills only.

EFAW + SPORT This Emergency First Aid at Work course + Sport meets all the requirements of Category B trained staff for sports in accordance with United Kingdom Athletics. You have 2 options here: Emergency Paediatric First Aid (EPFA) is a 1 day course designed to prepere you for worst case scenarios with children and babies. 1 day face to face 9am untill 4pm Paediatric First Aid Blended (PFAB) is a 2 day course covering everything from EPFA above and adding on a range of additional conditions and injuries you may need to deal with when caring for children. 2 days, 1 online in your own time and 1 classroom day 9am to 5.15 pm First Aid Training is a relaxed and enjoyable day, assessment will not be stressful, we aim to help you learn and support you to get what you need from the day. There are some practical and some multiple choice assessments for First Aid qualifications. First Aid can be quite physical, you will need to be able to kneel on the floor to perform CPR and recovery position.

The QCF approved qualification came into effect on 1st October 2013, along with new guidance on assessing the needs of First Aid in your workplace. Your risk assessments of First Aid needs may well identify the need for Emergency First Aiders at Work (EFAW) either as an addition to your First Aiders (3-day), or where your Company activities are low risk. A lot of our Clients have requested this course as extra cover when working on construction sites or similar works covered by the Principal Contractors trained site first aiders and for smaller works. Aims To give a basic knowledge to help you deal with any Emergency First Aid at Work. Course Content • Responsibilities and reporting • Assessment of the situation • Basic hygiene in First Aid • Dealing with an unresponsive casualty • Resuscitation and AED (defib) • Heart attacks • Bleeding • Minor injuries • Choking • Shock • Seizures. Prerequisites None - The course is intended either as an introduction or as a refresher. Assessment Delegates will be required to pass a multiple-choice test at the end of the training. (In addition, the HSE strongly recommend that all students undergo an annual refresher programme of about 3 hours, although this is not mandatory). Certificate On successful completion of the course, all delegates will receive a certificate of attendance. Instructions We regret that we may not be able to accept people onto a course who are more than 30 minutes late due to contact hours and the content that would be missed.
