I graduated from Kingston University in 2020 with 2:1 honours, specialising in guitar. At age 9 I began learning music through private guitar lessons from an experienced tutor. This greatly improved my playing and inspired me to start teaching others. During my studies at Edinburgh College and Kingston University, I took on voluntary and part time work teaching guitar. I taught in many styles while also tutoring students of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. I always focus on the student's needs and let them choose their own musical path. Music is for enjoyment, whatever that may be for you!

I gained my HND Beauty Therapy Qualification in 2001 from Central College of Commerce to allow me to work in an industry I loved. Since then I have worked continually to increase my skills and qualifications yearly by attending University (distance learning), nail and beauty courses, seminars, workshops and trade events. 15 years working in the beauty industry has made my career evolve and it continues to be a rewarding vocation. carol hendrie Where it all began My journey started in 1998 by doing night classes at college while working on cosmetic counters specialising in make-up. I worked in salons then went on to become a Business Manager for Clarins, beauty manager at The McDonald Inchyra hotel before becoming a salon owner in Falkirk for nearly 4 years. It was then when I specialised in acrylic and gel nail extensions as well as providing beauty treatments. I started teaching in 2003 at Forth Valley College whilst running my salon. After nearly 4 successful years in business a full time teaching opportunity arose in one of Scotland’s leading Colleges and I was the happiest girl alive when I got offered the full time position! Since 2006 I have gained the assessor and verifier award before developing my academic skills further completing a Degree in Professional Development (BAPD) at Aberdeen University whilst working in 2016 following on from my teaching qualification (TQFE) in 2011. I love teaching nails and beauty and find it so rewarding to see people achieve personal goals. Frazer began playing Piano at around 8 years old and graduated in 2012 with a BA HONS in Music performance from the University of Abertay. Whilst studying for this he had the privilege to study under instructors who were both specialist in Jazz and Classical genres. This lead to a very broad appreciation of musical genres which continues to inspire his teaching. Whilst at university Frazer also achieved his Grade 8 Piano certificate. On a part time basis he continues to play piano at Weddings and other special events.
