This course will equip learners with the skills and confidence to respond to first aid incidents.

This course is for holders of a current First Aid at Work qualification which is due to expire.

A Health & Safety Executive Approved course that complies with First Aid Regulations 1981 and includes AED training. This is an in-depth course that will take you through a wide range of injuries and illnesses that occur in the workplace. Who Should Attend? People that are in high-risk work environments. Nominees by an employer who deems that their business requires a First Aider. Course Content Health & Safety Using a First Aid Kit Incident Management Resuscitation / CPR - Adult, Child, Baby AED Familiarisation Recovery Position Choking - Adult, Child, Baby Burns & Scalds Poisoning including Anaphylaxis Epilepsy Shock Bleeding & Nose Bleeds Asthma Head Injuries Fractures, Sprains & Strains Many Other Specific Conditions Course Duration: Three Days (18 Hours) Certification Independent qualified assessors carry out the assessments. Each delegate that passes will receive a Certificate valid for Three years.

Have you ever thought of what to do in an emergency to care for a baby or child before medical care arrives? If so, this course is for you!  You will learn basic first aid tips of how to care for your baby or child in an emergency such as choking, resuscitation etc. Who is it for? Parents, grandparents, nannies, carers etc. Limited spaces available!

This 3-day FAA Level 3 Award course offers a variety of first aid situations and teaches how to respond to an emergency. It gives delegates the confidence to deal with any of these situations safely and efficiently.

Our one day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course covers all the subjects required by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to make this an approved course. However, if you have particular risks in your workplace please let us know in advance of the course so that we can tailor your time with us to include training in those area.  This course provides basic life saving first aid skills and knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations, covering: Adult resuscitation (CPR) Burns and scalds Choking adult Communication and casualty care Defibrillator (AED) prompts and pad placement Minor and severe bleeding Role of the first aider (including knowledge of health and safety regulations) Seizures Shock Unresponsive adult Catastrophic bleeding can be added as an optional module for workplaces that require it following your first aid needs assessment.

1-day First Aid course (accredited) £90

This course is designed to meet the requirements of ILS courses laid down by UK Resus Council guidelines and is certified by ProTrainings. This CPD course meets the criteria for the General Dental Council’s development outcomes C and includes medical emergencies as set out by the GDC in the dental practice. This 6 hour medical gases course is for workplaces and individuals who have access to and are expected to use medical gases. This course includes Oxygen & Entonox and its role in resuscitation and emergency therapy. The entry requirements for this course are you must be at least 16 years of age on the first day of training, and hold a Level 3 First Aid at Work qualification (or recognised equivalent).
