I am able to travel to you to help you develop your partnership with your horse. I specialise in developing confidence in both horse and rider both on the flat and over fences. As a list 5 BD Dressage judge I can help you with test riding for BD Intro, Prelim and Novice tests. I can help with BE 90, 100 & Novice tests. As I am training for list 4 I can also help you with Elementary BD and Intermediate BE The times listed are a general guide of my availability. A Warm Welcome to Ludo Tutors Founded in 2017 by Martha, a Dyslexic and Dyspraxia graduate from Cambridge University (Education with English and Drama, BA MA Cantab), Ludo Tutors was created to provide students with a holistic, well-rounded education and excellent quality Tutors. We have over 150 Tutors on our books and tutor everything from Academic subjects (such as 11+ Exams, Key Stage Three Science, GCSEs and A Levels) through to LAMDA Drama, Shakespeare and Public Speaking Exams). What are 11+ / Entrance Exams? 11+ Exams, sometimes called 'Entrance Exams', are examinations that many UK private schools. The rare usually competitive and a bit daunting! Don't panic, though - we're here to help!  How do I take Entrance Exams? Different schools have different application procedures, timelines and expectations. Some will belong to a body of schools using the same examination papers, whereas others will set their own, independent exams. Many also charge an administration fee. We do not advise parents on the applications themselves, but we have garnered a depth of knowledge about 11+ Exams that enable our Tutors to workeffikiently and effectively, whilst still keeping their students engaged and in good spirits. Who are your Tutors? Over half of our Tutors studied at either Oxford or Cambridge University and many hold PGCEs or TEFL/CELTA qualifications. All Tutors are Enhanced DBS checked. We interview each Tutor personally, to get to know them and to find our students the best match. What 11+ experience do you have? Our Founder, Martha, has extensive experience preparing students for the UK's top independent school exams, with many of her students achieving their first choice school, if not also a scholarship - lovely! This work is now carried out by our experienced and friendly tutors, with input from Martha if, as and when they may need extra support.

Open to any BBUK Leaders who have fully completed the registration process. Safeguarding and Managing Risk e-learning modules must be completed prior to attending the training course. Saturday 2nd November 2024 9:45 am to 5:45pm covers Modules 1: Introduction to BB, Module 6: Equal Opportunities, Module 2: Working with Under 11's OR Module 3: Working with Over 11's, Module 4: Safeguarding (recognised by the Church of Scotland)  Module 4 will start at 3:15pm and can be attended by Leaders who need this for Church of Scotland congregational purposes. Francesca Wyllie (BA Hons Fine Art) has an amazing north-facing art studio at El Retiro in Andalucia, which was purpose-built to accommodate painting groups. Bespoke painting and sculpture workshops can be arranged or Francesca can travel locally to guide you in your own studios or locations.

Join us for an interactive food workshop giving practical advice and support for the body’s transition during peri-menopause and menopause. We will discuss menopause-related nutrition, focus on foods rich in calcium and vitamin D to support bone health, and emphasise the food groups that ensure a high intake of vitamins, minerals, and fibre We will also look at how to include whole grains to promote heart health, which is particularly important as the risk of heart disease increases after menopause and discuss the benefits of soy and soy products, as they contain phytoestrogens, which may help balance hormones. We will have a cooking demonstration as part of the workshop, discuss meal planning and have a Q&A with our nutrition expert At the end of the cooking session we will eat together as a group This event includes sample recipes and a free meal kit to cook at home. £5 per ticket

HEALTHY SNACKING Nadja-Maurina Koerner  Mission Nutrition This workshop will help you learn ways to swap unhealthy snacks for healthier alternatives by incorporating food sources such as cacao, dried fruit, sugar alternatives and seeds into your snacking routine.  You will also learn about the importance of portion control and mindful eating, and receive tips on how to overcome common snacking challenges.  The workshop will be hands-on, with participants getting the opportunity to sample snacks including  Happiness Balls Chai Spiced Trail Mix Hummous Squash Dip Rosemary Pretzels with Cardamom Syrup Full Recipes will be available at the end of the workshop £5 deposit for workshop which will be refunded on attendance

One Shared Owner: artists talking about creating collaborative space and sustainability with SaltSpace and Vanilla Ink Join us for a conversation exploring how artist-led initiatives are set up, why they are necessary and perhaps most importantly how they evolve and sustain themselves over time.  SaltSpace and Vanilla Ink will be sharing their experiences setting up as a Cooperative and Community Interest Company; and how they operate as an artist led space and community for creative practitioners.  SaltSpace will be hosting Dr Deborah Jackson, Head of Fine Art Critical Studies at the Glasgow School of Art, and Ellie Smith-Barratt, Chief Executive Officer at Vanilla Ink. Both Deborah and Ellie will be sharing their experiences with artist-led initiatives, thinking about the topic of sustaining creative spaces and communities in Scotland, with a specific focus on supports for early career practitioners in Glasgow and more broadly across Scotland.  This conversation will be an opportunity to think about the transitional space of moving from student to graduate and into practicing as a professional artist. We will be talking about supports for recent graduates and early career artists in the form of organisations and initiatives set up by / for recent graduates due to the lack of support system often provided by institutions. We will be thinking about the need to support collaboration and foster community during that time, and what mechanisms of support are in place for this, and how we can improve and strengthen these supports. Context: This event is co-hosted and supported by the Scottish Artist Union, artist and researcher Chris Biddlecombe, will be providing an overview of his key findings from the ‘Artist-Led Organisations in Scotland: Survey and Mapping of Activity' research report, which has been undertaken by Scottish Artist Union on behalf of Creative Scotland.  The event has been developed in conversation with Dr Marianne Greated, Academic Development Lead, School of Fine Art, Glasgow School of Art who has a longstanding interest in developing artist led collaborations and how this can be supported through the Glasgow School of Art curriculum.  About SaltSpace: SaltSpace is a creative cooperative based in Glasgow which aims to provide a supportive platform for new graduates and early year creatives as a stepping-stone into their artistic career. Currently we offer studio spaces across two premises in Glasgow city in Dornoch Street and the Axiom Building and a gallery/community space in the Axiom Building on 54 Washington Street.  About Vanilla Ink: Vanilla Ink is a Community Interest Company with creative jewellery workshops in Glasgow and Banff. They offer a diverse range of resources and programmes tailored to empower and support emerging talent, giving members access to the fully equipped jewellery studios, tools and bench space. The emphasis is on providing a supportive environment for jewellers to develop their skills and confidence.
