An interactive course guiding you through the ins and outs of the 12 lead electrocardiogram (ECG). Starting with an introduction to cardiac anatomy, physiology and the electrical conduction system, we will guide delegates through how to perform a 12 lead ECG correctly and how to begin its interpretation. Using real-life examples you’ll learn the important aspects of atrial arrhythmias, heart blocks, bundle branch blocks, ventricular arrhythmias in addition to changes that occur during myocardial infarction, ischaemia and electrolyte imbalances. The course will be provided by Cardiac Physiologists and Cardiac Clinical Scientists from Manchester University Foundation Trust - one of the largest tertiary cardiac centres in the UK.

Description Our Class 2 (Category C) Driver Training – 20 hours course is a great way to move into a new career in logistics and haulage, for paramedic training or to boost your skills. This course will give you all the skills and knowledge to drive a smaller truck, also known as a ‘rigid’, and weighing up to 32 tonnes. It is also ideal for people who need to learn how to drive a Class 2 vehicle as part of their paramedic training or for people who need to be able to drive other larger vehicles, such as horseboxes. BOHS P903 - Management and control of evaporative cooling and other high risk industrial systems is there to provide background and an overview of the risk of Legionella infection and how it can be controlled in Evaporative Cooling and other high risk Industrial type systems. It is a requirement of this course that candidates have successfully completed P901 - Legionella- Management and Control of Building Hot and Cold Water Services. Where both P901 and P903 courses are run on subsequent days or as a combined course then this prerequisite is waived.

The Trisat 3 day RTACC course is a QNUK qualification course delivered by CTR Secure Services who have over 24 years operational experience within the close protection and medical sectors.

Guided Teaching Practice (20 Hours – 8 Sessions – 4 Days)

This first aid course is ideal for primary and nursery school teachers, child minders and child careers. Learn how to manage emergency situations or minor everyday occurrences when looking after infants through to teenagers. Qualification meets the criteria defined for first aid training in the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework (EYFS) and Ofsted first aid requirements for registered childminders. It can also be used as evidence for employees working towards an NVQ in Childcare and Education. Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of training and be able to perform tasks at floor level. There are no other formal entry requirements but we strongly recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
