During the 20 hours of virtual sessions, you will practice planning lessons, creating digital teaching materials, developing animated video tutorials, utilizing learning management systems, assessing and tracking your students’ progress. You will teach real students while being observed by a highly qualified TESOL expert. You will receive detailed feedback on your teaching skills, lesson plans and teaching materials.
First Day (5 Hours)
1-Planning Lessons for Traditional and Online Classes (2.5 Hours)
In this session, you will learn and practice how to plan engaging grammar, vocabulary and skills lessons. You will also be introduced to the best practices for converting your courses from face-to-face into blended ones.
2- Using Online Tools in Creating Interactive Teaching Materials (2.5 Hours)
In this session, you will learn how to utilize online tools in creating engaging e-learning content and digitized teaching materials. You will also learn how to modify teaching materials and develop digital components for the synchronous and asynchronous parts of your course.
Second Day (5 Hours)
3- Teaching Practice (2.5 Hours)
In this session you will teach real students and receive feedback on your lesson plan, teaching materials and classroom management. You will also observe and evaluate other teachers’ lessons while guided by a highly qualified TESOL expert.
4- Creating Animated Video Tutorials (2.5 Hours)
You will learn how to create storyboards and utilize video-creating apps to create three styles of animated videos that would engage your students and help you simplify complicated concepts and enhance knowledge retention.
Third Day (5 Hours)
5- Managing Traditional and Virtual Classes (2.5 Hours)
This session will focus on the best strategies for using online teaching platforms, managing students in traditional and virtual classes, addressing discipline issues and facilitating teacher-learner, learner-learner and learner-content interaction.
6- Using Learning Management Systems (LMS) Effectively (2.5 Hours)
In this session, you will learn how to make the best use of Learning Management Systems. You will learn how to create courses and quizzes or assignments on LMS and how to make use of gradebooks and reporting functions.
Fourth Day (5 Hours)
7- Assessment, Evaluation and Tracking Student Progress (2.5 Hours)
This session will enable you to identify the stages of test development, write objective test questions that accurately assess students’ knowledge and identify the different ways for tracking student progress. You will also learn how to create surveys and course evaluations.
8- Job Hunting, Interviewing Strategies & Continued Professional Development (2.5 Hours)
This session will guide you through the steps for planning your English teaching career path. It will help you get perfectly prepared for job interviews and teaching demos. You will also identify various formal and informal tools for continued professional development.

Rubric for assessing oral production
An error correction code for writing errors
