Do bear in mind, this course can’t teach you how to diagnose and treat a mental health condition. That’s the responsibility of a healthcare professional.

High-performing teams (HPTs) are united in their approach. No one is left behind, everyone is vigilant of each other, and mental health check-ins are a daily ritual, not just a task. This level of cohesion is not a coincidence but a result of leaders and managers fostering a culture of care and support within a psychologically safe environment.

LaPD Solutions is passionate about the skills required to transfer Skills, Knowledge and Understanding (SKU) to others.
We believe that trainers should not lecture their learners but instead use our tools to engage, interest, and even challenge them, making them inquisitive about the learning and able to reason out the new SKU to keep their brains engaged.
Our three to five-day course compares the lecture-based delivery that most trainers use to deliver their training to our Engagement Methodology and explains why it is significantly better for learning and retention.
We use the same session structure in our methodology to deliver these courses. Our CET structure is not rigid but rather adaptable to the dynamic situations trainers often find themselves in, especially when time is tight. This flexibility empowers trainers to deliver effective training regardless of the circumstances.
We discuss why question techniques are an incredibly powerful tool in the art of engaging our learners, and we look at when we should use specific techniques and even when we should not. We give time to practice this key skill, but please note that the three-day course has limited time for this crucial practice. The three-day version of this course is designed exclusively for experienced trainers, recognising their expertise and the experience they have acquired. Including inexperienced trainers is unfair to them or others on their course.

It focuses on helping organisations move away from traditional PM processes and work hard at reinventing them under a different name and approach aimed at supporting and collaborating to help both the Manager/Leader and the colleague.</p><p style="color: rgb(33, 33, 33); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;" fr-original-style=" color: rgb(33, 33, 33);">Historically, PM sessions have been held every six months or even annually, which, in our opinion, is no good. PM meetings are often treated with little importance and an almost tick-box attitude. This clearly does not help either party, so we focus very much on changing that.</p><p style="color: rgb(33, 33, 33); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;" fr-original-style=" color: rgb(33, 33, 33);">In our opinion, the PM meeting should be an opportunity for both parties to discuss what is best for each other. We should be mindful of job descriptions and realistic expectations and consider various situations both at work and for the individual.</p><p style="color: rgb(33, 33, 33); font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box;" fr-original-style=" color: rgb(33, 33, 33);">We discuss the importance of &#39;facilitating&#39; feedback instead of just giving it. Our Performance Management (PM) workshop is based on Emotional Intelligence (EI). It focuses on helping organisations move away from traditional PM processes and work hard at reinventing them under a different name and approach aimed at supporting and collaborating to help both the Manager/Leader and the colleague.
Historically, PM sessions have been held every six months or even annually, which, in our opinion, is no good. PM meetings are often treated with little importance and an almost tick-box attitude. This clearly does not help either party, so we focus very much on changing that.
In our opinion, the PM meeting should be an opportunity for both parties to discuss what is best for each other. We should be mindful of job descriptions and realistic expectations and consider various situations both at work and for the individual.
We discuss the importance of 'facilitating' feedback instead of just giving it. We explore our 'Reasoning Questions' to show how they work, why they are critical and what benefits they bring.

We ask all the Support Specialists to analyse everything you do to identify your many roles.
We discuss our SAS feedback model and help everyone understand why it is so powerful.
We discuss our Coaching Structure and how it can be adapted depending on the situation and learners' needs.
We investigate the issue of challenging learners, why they can be challenging and what approaches Support Specialists can take to manage this.
We discuss learner engagement and how we can motivate or demotivate people using our centres.
We discuss the many question techniques and their uses but focus on the Reasoning Questions for use in the coaching aspect of the last day and, more importantly, back in the centre.

Course Overview:
Complete this easy-to-follow Neonatal & Paediatric Phlebotomy eLearning course on your computer, mobile phone, laptop, kindle or tablet at your own pace and in your own time.
Learn essential skills and techniques used by phlebotomists to draw blood from neonates and paediatrics. Covers many of the skills developed by medical professionals working in Special Care Baby Units and Children's Wards.
The course can be completed in stages - you have 8 weeks to complete the course in full. Once completed you will immediately be able to download your pass certificate. (Your new accredited certificate will be posted to you within 6-8 weeks).
The nationally recognised and accredited certificate (awarded by the Open College Network) can be added to your existing certificate credit value (cumulative credits), and these may also count towards other similar college or university courses.
This course complements our Introduction to Phlebotomy Course and is a natural progression route for practising and experienced phlebotomists wishing to expand on their existing phlebotomy qualifications. The course is also open to anyone completing another (approved) provider's phlebotomy training course.
At the end of each e-learning section (module) you have a series of multiple choice questions to answer. You can re-sit each section a total of 3 times.

This course is suitable for you if:
You currently work (or have recently worked) as a phlebotomist and wish to add to your existing accreditations and increase your scope for work.
You have completed the Introduction to Phlebotomy Course or have completed a similar course from an approved supplier. We do not recommend this course if you do not have a basic phlebotomy qualification.
Add to your CPD (continual professional development) or if requested by your employer as part of your CPD or Induction Programme.
