Join Us for a Lunchtime Walk: Get Moving, Connect, and Recharge! We're excited to invite you to our Walking Club – the perfect way to take a break, get some fresh air, and connect with colleagues! Whether you’re stepping away from your desk or enjoying the outdoors virtually, this is a fantastic opportunity to stretch your legs, boost your mood, and give your body the movement it deserves. Open to all Whether you're walking in the office or from the comfort of your home, all you need is your walking shoes and if you want to connect with the team bring your phone. Note: It is mandatory for all participants (In-person/virtual) to complete the health and safety form attached prior to taking part. In Person Attendees: The walk will commence from the United Drug office reception at 1.00 pm. Please make sure to get there on time! Virtual Attendees: Join us for the walk from anywhere - at the same time, on the same day, and be part of the fun! But it doesn’t have to be this way. Join our Stress Management Workshops to: ✔️ Understand the difference between stress and pressure ✔️ Learn the causes of stress in and out of the workplace ✔️ Discover practical coping strategies and build mental resilience These workshops are packed with insights, tools, and strategies to help you take control of your stress levels and improve your well-being—personally and professionally. There are two different ones to choose from - a 2 hour workshop and a 4 hour workshop! Course Contents of 2 hour course: What is Stress Stress versus Pressure Statistics Absenteeism, Presenteeism and Leaveism Workplace Causes of Stress Personal Causes of Stress Short-Term and Long-Term Effects of Stress Coping Strategies Mental Resilience Benefits of this Workshop: In 2022/23. 875,000 people suffered from work-related stress, depression or anxiety The affects of stress are far reaching, affecting one's mind, body, social and personal life Become more aware of what stresses you, what is does to you and find ways to reduce those stress levels
Teaching you how to treat your child should the worst occur Children can be present, though parents will remain responsible for them throughout 2.5 - 3 hr sessions Course Contents: What to do if your child goes unconscious How to check if they are breathing normally or not If they are, how to put them in the recovery position If they are not, how to start CPR and use an AED (defibrillator) What to do if your child were to choke What to do if they were to get burnt How to treat minor injuries (dependent on available time) Past Sessions: Sessions in the past have been paid for by a local charity, enabling parents to access the training for free We're happy to put on sessions for your group, playgroup, charity, or simply for you and your children We're always happy to have little ones come along They can either play around, or join us - they usually prefer to join us and play with the manikins, even trying out CPR! You will, of course, remain fully responsible for them while they are there Accreditation: These sessions are tailored to the needs of parents and are therefore not accredited. We can, however, give a CPD Certificate if that is helpful to you.
