International Coaching Week 2025: Leading as a Coach Did you know it only takes 85 people to destabilise a company of 3,000? This International Coaching Week, we’re diving into what it really means to lead as a coach—and why that shift matters more than ever in teams, organisations and how we interact with our coaching client. The event caters for both our in person (in London) and virtual communities. Our aim is to come together and master the art of leading as a coach. The morning session is an invitation for Leaders. What are the leadership roles needed to lead organisational transformation? And how can leading as a coach help? The afternoon session flips the focus to coaches. This session will tackle the other side of the conversation: how coaches can support leaders who are stepping into this new identity. It’s not just about individual development anymore—it’s about co-creating a shift in how leadership happens. Coaches will learn how to work with the real-time tensions leaders face, specifically with shifting between the two roles, as well as merging them together, and the balance between directive action and relational awareness. About this Training Course This 5 full-day course will focus on geological fundamentals: how different basin types differ in subsidence mechanisms, basin cycles, heat flow through time, depositional systems, structural styles and their type of petroleum systems. In this capacity, he led and participated in countless prospect review sessions and developed and conducted a successful in-house course on Risks & Volume assessment. As manager of the Exploration Excellence Team, he performed in depth analysis of basins and plays and provided advice on exploration opportunities to senior management. Together with his team, he visited most of Shell's exploration offices, working hands-on with Shell's local exploration teams to generate new play and prospect ideas and to suggest evaluation techniques and technologies to apply. In 2010, he was appointed as extraordinary professor Regional and Petroleum Geology at the VU university of Amsterdam and in 2012 also at the University of Utrecht. He was visiting professor at the University of Malaya (Malaysia). Through his own consultancy, as of 2010, he provides advice on exploration activities to several companies and is regularly invited to carry out technical reviews. Activities cover all continents and include Portfolio Reviews, Prospect assessment, Play-based Exploration, and Geothermal activities. In research, he was responsible for promoting directional drilling and surveying and advised on the first horizontal wells being drilled, in projects, he was responsible for a high pressure drilling campaign in Nigeria while in the learning centre, he looked after the development of new engineers joining the company after graduating from university. He was also involved in international well control certification and served as chairman for a period of three years. In the last years of his active career, he worked again in China as a staff development manager, a position he nurtured because he was able to pass on his knowledge to a vast number of new employees once again. An intensive two-year course with a School located in the heart of London, the MA Filmmaking trains to a professional level in a full range of filmmaking skills. Students leave with a portfolio of directing, cinematography, editing, producing, production design and sound credits. The school specifies the skill base for each exercise, providing the equipment and training students to new levels in each of the various craft skills. Students make all aesthetic decisions while solving problems similar to those faced by professional units, on a steeply increasing slope of difficulty. The work is constantly assessed and critiqued.  This is the core of the London Film School method. Students learn by applying themselves to aesthetic and practical problems generated by the actual process of filmmaking.
