WhizzTheatrics is a Musical Theatre and performing arts class, promoting confidence, concentration, communication and coordination. TRIAL BOOKINGS: Of course you are welcome to watch the trial class but following the trial, WhizzDancers are expected to be independent in the room. TERM BOOKINGS: You are welcome to watch the first class but following this your WhizzDancer will be expected to go in the class independently. You will be expected to provide full uniform. Day 1 Mel will look at you, your unique life, your shining eyes on screen and see how you can use your energy within the specifics of the role – so that your work is alive and truthful. You’ll look at the differences between our essential selves and learnt text. (Everyone will have a solo session on-screen with Mel.) Day 2 Filming will continue alongside tips and games on camera. You will work extensively on scenes. Day 3 You’ll look at rehearsal techniques and strategies to build a life for screen including breathing work, improvisation, psychological gestures, physical metaphor and Mel’s Elemental metaphors. Join Wildside London in the creative studio at West 16th for a Christmas Wreath workshop on Thursday 12th December at 7pm.  Kick off the festive season by learning to create a gorgeous wreath with an array of seasonal florals. Our workshops are fun, immersive and relaxed and we provide all the materials and instruction to enable you to design and build a fabulous wreath. The evening provides an opportunity to plan a creative Christmas get together that will put you right into the Christmas spirit. Mulled wine and mince pies will be served alongside the wreath making tutorial, or book a table in the restaurant for dinner before and make a night it it.

This is the first module of a series designed to provide thorough, professional training in leatherworking and accessory making. Each module has been carefully designed to equip individuals with key skills for starting a career in this sector, broadening their industry knowledge, or embarking on their own journey with solid foundational skills. During the lesson, you will learn how to proficiently handle a variety of essential hand tools and how to distinguish leather types and understand their suitability for specific projects and techniques. You will gain insights into the technical aspects of leatherworking, including preparation, marking, cutting, gluing, reinforcing, skiving, debossing, and more. You will receive valuable handouts, curated lists of leather and tool suppliers for ongoing reference, and create personalised samples for your own reference.
