MIXING TECHNIQUES STAGE 2 EVERY TUESDAY FOR SIX WEEKS 5pm - 9pm So you've worked out how to EQ things, when to use a compressor, how to manipulate the space with reverb and how much fun modulation effects can be. BUT ever feel like there's something they're just not telling you? This course gives you answers to the questions you didn't even know to ask!

This workshop is designed for people who have never baked bread before, those that have dabbled a bit with varying degrees of success and for regular bread makers that would like to learn more about the skills, techniques and science involved in bread making.

This course is the next level from Gel polish. During this course you will learn how to apply and perfect Builder Gel to natural nails and create the perfect finish. Builder Gel is a product used to provide structure and help clients grow their natural nails. This course also includes a kit to take away with you. Pre Course Requirements: Nail technology with hard gel and recommended 6 month industry experience.

This set of 6 morning workshops (over 6 weeks) is designed to allow you the opportunity to explore a wide range of techniques to create beautifully unique fused glass jewellery & decorative objects. After a brief introduction to the historical context and language of fused glass you will be guided through using techniques such as scoring, cutting £0& layering sheet & accessory glass, adding mica or oxide powders to create sparkle and bubbles, use of kiln carving to create subtle textures, using inclusions of wire & precious metal foils and painting or stencilling with 'glassline' paints etc. you will create at least 2 pieces per session and these will be fired and ready to add finishing touches on the subsequent session ( pieces made during the final date will be fired & finished and ready for collection after 7 days) we will mainly focus on jewellery but larger items can be made eg. This course is for absolute beginners, or those who have painted in watercolour before but would like to get to grips with tricky techniques or just expand on their knowledge of watercolour painting and create the effects they are looking to achieve.

This course will enable candidates to understand how to improve their handling techniques to avoid injury so it is particularly suited for those starting a new job, returning to work or who need specific manual handling training.

Learn Life Drawing for Beginners Workshop Saturday 29th June- 10:45-14:30 - Friends Meeting House, Manchester Welcome to our upcoming life drawing workshop for beginners. This is an opportunity for beginner artists to come together and learn new techniques and skills in capturing the human form from a live model. Because we believe that life drawing is an essential skill for all artists, whether you're interested in figurative work, portraiture, or any other type of art that involves the human body. During this workshop you will have the chance to practice drawing the human body in a variety of poses and perspective using different techniques. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the process, providing helpful tips on anatomy, proportion and composition and individual feedback to help you overcome any challenges you may face, so you can learn to draw the human figure more confidently and competently. We will be working with a professional life model who will hold a series of poses throughout the workshop. These poses will range from short gesture poses to longer, more sustained poses, giving you plenty of opportunities to practice capturing the human form in different positions and angles. All you need to bring is your creativity and enthusiasm to improve your drawing skills, and we will provide all the drawing materials required for this course. Please note that this is a nude drawing workshop, and attendees are to be 18 years or older. We ask that attendees under 18 years of age be accompanied by a responsible adult. This is to ensure that all participants feel comfortable and safe during the workshop. In addition, refreshments including tea, coffee and food can be purchased at the bar, however you are also welcome to bring your own lunch if you wish.
