The team consists primarily of three highly qualified, experiences Health and Social Care Professional who have worked, manage, trained, developed and supported both organisations and individuals to reach their full potential. The associates have over 45 years combined experience of working in Health and Social Care in many settings. The associates have experience of working in a combination of settings from specialist residential Learning Disability (Adult, Children and Young People), Elder Care, Education and traditional Domiciliary, care at home, services. The Philosophy of the Organisation Our philosophy is to support the delivery of high quality care services to every customer by well trained team members. We are committed to the promotion of Care as a Career. We support companies to continually improve the quality of care and support delivered by supporting its delivery by highly trained professionals. We guarantee not to sell you training that you do not need. We use a partnership approach to deliver the training you require. Associates All of our trainers are well qualified care and / or medical professionals with a wealth of experience. We only work with people who maintain their practice within their chosen sector and so ensuring we are current to the ongoing changes the providers we support face every day. Our clinical courses are taught by an accident and emergency trained specialist to give added benefit to course participants. The Courses All of our courses can be externally accredited by national awarding bodies. The courses we deliver are based on the best practice protocols in place at the time of the delivery. We write all of our courses to meet the needs of the individual company we are working with. All of our courses are delivered using the minimum powerpoint slides but rather interactive, multimedia methods to ensure we reach as many learning styles as possible. We want all participants to have a enjoyable learning experience in order they can transfer their learning back into the workplace. If the course does not meet your needs we will re-train it free of charge. We enjoy working with people of all ages and have the ability to deliver fully funded Apprenticeship awards that are currently free of charge. We work from early years settings through to children and onto adult settings and have the assessors that will work with, mentor and encourage the staff members of the future.

Erya is a Cornish word meaning to challenge and fly in the face of, which we think perfectly sums up our commitment to advocacy, learning, training and development to support people to live the lives they choose. We are a Community Interest Company established in 2015, run by and for people with the label of a learning disability, people who access services and carers. We challenge, celebrate and innovate Health and Social Care provision across Cornwall. We do this through advocacy, learning, training and development but also by organising social events so that people have an opportunity to meet friends, form relationships or just spend time together – something that we can often take for granted or hopefully not so much after COVID-19.
