By The Ed Psych Coach

Part 1: ‘Lunch and Learn’ with Max & Fi ✨ ( About 15-20 min) Max and Fi will share various psychological models, resources and ideas to help you feel positive, purposeful and inspired in your EP career. We draw upon positive psychology, with the aim of helping you feel motivated, engaged and purposeful in your EP Career. Part 2: Time to connect 🧠🧠 ( About 40-45 min) Come and find your 'tribe' and connect with like-minded EPs. W e will organise breakout rooms for small group chats, reflections and connection-building within the EP community. You might want to share some ideas with others, find out what others are up to, make connections and explore possible collaborations. Maybe you're feeling isolated (easy in this role!) and just fancy some EP company and connection. We will offer some prompts for your chats and do our best to reduce any awkwardness and make it fun and friendly! Come with an open mind. Be brave. Be curious. See where the session takes you... Bring your own lunch and a cup of PositiviTEA. If your cup is feeling a bit empty, we hope we can fill it during the session* * This is a metaphor. No actual tea is included ;) P.s. Sorry this session is not suitable for aspiring EPs . Please do look out for more appropriate events via Twitter.

Bourne

These local Bourne residents describe their experience of Big Tom Driving School: Kyle Starbuck from Billingborough “Brilliant for practising all aspects of driving in the safest way, as well as gaining and maintaining confidence” Dalton Marsh from Bourne who passed his driving test on his first attempt on Day 5 of his intensive driving course: “I enjoyed his teaching style, calm and patient which suited my learning style” Georgia Galloway from Bourne “My experience of learning to drive was very positive thanks to my lessons with Tom. I started out with very little time behind the wheel but was helped to feel very calm and relaxed. He adapts the learning techniques to you as an individual, ensuring you learn at your own pace. I started out with very little confidence, but thanks to Tom and his calming influence this was overcome quite quickly. Mock tests helped me prepare for the real practical test and assisted in reducigeorgia galloway from Bourneng my nerves for test day. I knew what to expect so there were never any surprises. Tom also has lots of useful videos online which help with tackling more difficult techniques or situations. Overall my experience was fantastic and I would recommend anyone looking to start driving to give Tom a call!” Oliver Stephenson from Carlby “I started driving with Tom after failed a test with another instructor. He built my confidence by giving me clear instruction on how to improve my driving. He used different techniques to show what to do. I found the mock tests we did really helpful and showed me exactly what the examiner would be looking for. Driving every day with Tom gave me much more experience than having a lesson weekly. Tom made everything easy by booking my initial test and then finding me a cancellation because he thought I was ready to take my test earlier. On day 5 I took my test and passed with no driver errors. I would definitely recommend Big Tom Driving School and wish I’d gone with Tom in the first place.”

Sleaford

I am delighted to welcome you to Carre’s Grammar School, which is an over-subscribed selective Academy in the market town of Sleaford and a founding partner of the Robert Carre Trust. We have 800 students on roll; boys only 11-16, and co-educational in the Sixth Form. The school has long been synonymous with excellence and the school’s reputation for providing a first rate all-round education for local students has been strengthened even further over recent years. Our academic results speak for themselves while our achievements in Sport, Music and other activities are outstanding. We have been recognised as a Good school with Outstanding features by Ofsted and were delighted with this outcome, which recognised the strengths of the school and supported our own perceived areas for improvement. We have been recognised as one of the top schools in the country based on our performance in the last few years, and students have regularly accepted offers for Oxbridge and the top Universities, whilst others have gone onto apprenticeships or employment. It is our ambition that Carre’s students should leave school with an enthusiasm for learning which will last them a lifetime. By encouraging creativity and originality alongside honesty, sensitivity and compassion we believe that our students will develop the capacity to meet the challenges of the modern world and lead happy and fulfilling lives. The friendly, cheerful atmosphere of the school helps our students enjoy learning and, as they grow into young men and women, we enable them to take increasing responsibility for themselves and for others around them. Learning can only take place successfully in a caring and orderly community and we provide an environment in which the young people are expected to work hard and share in the ethos and values of the school. Our expectations of behaviour are high and we aim to support each child through their school career so that they make the best of their talents. We are committed to the belief that it is very important to offer as many opportunities as possible to our students to gain experience from learning outside the classroom. An extensive array of enrichment and extra-curricular activities is offered. Partnerships have been developed locally, nationally and internationally which extend opportunities for all. At best, the website only gives you a flavour of this remarkable school, a school proud of its heritage yet excited by its continued development, growth and innovation, so I invite you to visit us to fully appreciate what the school offers.
