Emergency First Aid at Work: What will you learn? The course covers everything listed below. There will be practical demonstrations, a bit of role playing and some activities to keep things engaging and interesting. I’m happy to tailor the content with additions. For instance, if you’d like me to focus on treating sprained ankles because this is a particular risk at your workplace, that’s fine. During the course, you’ll be trying out your newly-learned techniques with a whole range of equipment, including mannequins. And… this course includes the Bra Off, Defib On. Did you know that women are less likely than men to survive when a defibrillator is used on them in a medical emergency? Proper pad placement is crucial, and you’ll learn this life-saving skill. This course is an infant, adolescent, and adult-certified course FOR A GROUP AT YOUR LOCATION OR OURS. First Aid/CPR/AED/Bleeding Control course certified. This is a group course designed for business staff training, churches, sporting venues, and anywhere where CPR/First Aid/AED/Bleeding Control is required.

First Aid training – Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) (FAA Award Level 2) is QCF, Ofqual and HSE approved awarding organisation. This course delivered over a minimum of 6 hours is both practical and theoretical covering responsibilities of the first aider, reporting, first aid hygiene, bleeding, shock, seizures, assessments, resuscitation, angina, heart attacks, choking, minor injuries and dealing with an unresponsive casualty, compliant with the latest health and safety executive regulations and guidelines. ATTIRE AND DRESS CODE We would recommend for all female candidates to wear trousers, comfortable shoes so that they can all practice the technique of CPR effectively on the CPR manikins.
