This 3 Day First Aid at Work course is run over three days and includes both theory and practical sessions. The course is accredited to a Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) and valid for 3 Years.
This qualification gives the participant the knowledge and skills to take on the role of a first aider in the work environment. The Combined First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid Course is ideal for those who work in settings that require both first aiders and paediatric first aiders, such as schools, sports clubs or other childcare settings.Ā Combining the QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) and the QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) into 3 extended days of classroom learning, this specially designed course enables candidates to gain the skills and knowledge needed to provide both adult and paediatric first aid, whilst minimising the number of training days required to achieve both qualification. Candidates will cover a range of topics needed to provide effective first aid for adults, children and infants including CPR and defibrillation, choking, stroke, head injuries, asthma and much more.

Our one day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) courseĀ covers all the subjects required by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE)Ā to make this an approved course. It is tailored for those who work in environments that require both First Aiders and Peadiatric First Aiders, such as schools, sports clubs or childcare facilities. This streamlined approach maximises efficiency and saves time for those seeking both certifications.
Our first aid at work training courses are in accordance with guidance provided by the Health & Safety executive (HSE) and are both fun and informative. This qualification should enable Learners to attain the knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations. Learners should be able to demonstrate the practical administration of safe, prompt, effective first aid in emergency situations with an understanding of the role of first aider. and include dynamic and realistic casualty simulation which puts the candidates through their paces. We hold the Emergency First Aid at Work at our Education Centre in Ellesmere Port. We are also able to teach this course 'in-house' at our clients preferred site. Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of training and be able to perform tasks at floor level. There are no other formal entry requirements but we strongly recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
