Come and have a fun filled day creating your own beautiful bangle. You will get to create a bangle from sterling silver. Then using silver clay you will design and make a lovely, unique charm to adorn your bracelet. You will get to take these away at the end of the course to wear and treasure, or as a gift for a loved one.

One day silver clay workshop in Market Bosworth you will make 3 to 5 solid silver jewellery pieces taught by a fully qualified metal clay artist. Come and have fun learning the magic of Silver Metal Clay. Silver clay is a recycled product which when fired becomes solid silver and is Hallmark quality. The best thing is it requires few tools so makes a great new hobby. A workshop for beginners or experienced jewellers, you will learn how to: Roll and pattern clay Cut shapes and create moulds Sand , drill and prepare your piece for firing Fire and polish add patinas and add findings so your solid silver jewellery is ready to wear.

A three hour slab-building pottery workshop, using stoneware clays to make mess and memories. And Pots! Come play with Clay!

Our relaxed and welcoming venue at 70-72 Blackburn Road, Accrington BB5 1LE is the perfect place to get in touch with your artistic side. Choose a bisque to paint and spend an extended session indulging in your imagination, painting to your heart's content. While you are painting, tea and coffee will be available throughout the session to ensure that you remain refreshed and energized throughout. At 12noon, we will provide our Artisan lunch box to enjoy in between painting sessions. Feel free to arrive and leave at your leisure, and spend as much time as you want on your masterpiece. A £20.00 per painter deposit is required to reserve your space and cover the session fee (the cost of the paints, glaze and firing), plus your lunch with tea and coffee. You will then have the option of selecting the item(s) you wish to paint. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to indulge in an extended painting session!

Suitable for complete beginners Age 15 plus Join Lynne from Pots of Magic to create your own ceramic Greenman plaque . During this 3 hour workshop you will be guided through each section using basic hand building and sculpting techniques . During the first 90 minutes you will sculpt and form the face ,with the opportunity to create your own unique character . There will then be a teabreak before you add the foliage to your Greenman Foliage will be provided however if you wish to personalise your plaque using leaves from your own garden please do not hesitate to do so . (Please note leaves are rolled into the clay to leave an imprint then cut out .therefore leaves with veins give best results ) Once finished your clay creation will dry out slowly for 2 weeks before under going its first kiln firing . Once bisque fired it will then be professionally glazed by Lynne and enter the kiln again for its final firing . Your final piece will be ready for collection 4 to 5 weeks later from Ainsdale . Learn about the unique qualities of silver clay and make your own solid silver jewellery. You'll be guided by a friendly and experienced teacher to help you make three jewellery pieces for you to treasure and take away! Firstly, you will make a leaf pendant or earrings. Then you'll mould a small object of your choosing to turn into a charm. Lastly, you will form a pendant or charm and learn how to add texture and a gemstone. Once all your projects are ready, you will be shown how to fire and polish your pieces to be solid silver with a beautiful shine.
